Just a modem or is it a modem/router? I believe the printer itself is fully functional, since you mentioned that something like 5 other computers can still use it without any issues. Since TCP/IP is the surest way to get a printer added, we're going to continue with that as our example. Select "Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname" and Also go back over the printer connection settings in windows.
