I'm getting tired of deleting the key…I could slap it all into a batch file and have her click it to fix, but I'd rather fix the root cause. We were having trouble in our computer labs, and after applying this on a few computers manually I ran across what looks like a hotfix: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2778831 We're working on applying this, The print server appeared to be functioning and every test I could run, and every "fix" I found resulted in failure on both the terminal server and print server. I successfully added this printer on a Windows XP machine and a Windows 2000 machine with no problems.. Worked for me a treat. Everything else is working fine and when I install the printer individually(locally) using the IP address, it has no problems.
