Similar to the OP, I have a Seagate drive, but it is 4TB.
Than I plag it back in my Win7 Laptop an it is Working fine! I can see the drive in the Disk Management. Then came this USB issue and said, oh my gosh...self fulfilling prophecy...funnily enough,my laptop (win7 OS) recognizes all my USB drives, but my desk doesn`t.
