This would normally be 192.168.0.1 with the DHCP pool starting at 192.168.0.2 and running up to 192.168.0.254 although this is not the only allowed setting. No promises but I've seen these work in the past: 1) Disable your firewall. 2) Run command prompt as administrator and run these commands: netsh int ip reset log netsh winsock Correct, with the exception that the router has now assigned the address 192.168.0.10 to the desktop adapter. The end result is that the Win7 computer won't access the internet or any network resources. I'm afraid it's the same as before. It confirms what I see in the DHCP server logs, a repeated request cycle, over and over. Is this a domain issue and GPOs interfering somehow?
