My work server runs on a sql database and I use Access 2000 as a front-end client to connect. I fixed it by uninstalling the "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" on the network adaptor, reinstalling it and then restarting the computer. Thanks for the help, but unfortunately my problem is still there. Ok so none of the above yielded any luck.
