Win 7 Cannot Find Network Computers



This is not secure. Hope that helps someone out there. i suggest you to do the samething like me okay. I have network issues that may be related : my LAN consists of a PC/XP and a PC/W7 through a modem/router and a Workgroup (not Homegroup). Check This Out

Somehow, 2 of the computers on the network were setup with a "Homegroup" the other was not. The folder shows up fine on Win 7 and I can ping machines back and forth. By default, Windows does not allow the File and Printer Sharing service access through the firewall, so you have to manually allow access. are all fine (as expected since the other computers can access files on the laptop without any problem), so I hope someone here has a suggestion because after spending several hours
