For any new printers we received that used different drivers, we were able to use Group Policy to allow users to install drivers without issues. These separator pages do not get printed out when added as a local printer. Combine it with loading the printer driver(s) on the client computer, problem gone. check over here

It's a shame it doesn't appear on the standard Microsoft help pages..... I guess Microsoft thinks printers on a intranet are local. From the Start menu click “All Programs”, then “Accessories”.  Right-click “Command Prompt” and choose “Run as Administrator” from the context menu. is there any known hardware or software conflicts?

I really find some of Vista's features and security a little over the top and inconsistent at times. Also, sometimes the printer can be hung up with pending jobs from another computer.

It is getting a different error message and I haven't even attempted anything with that one yet.
