Cannot Access Samba Share From Windows 7
On Win 7, I keeping getting access denied. I did create the logs and here is what they look like after I attempt to connect to the media share. Windows Cannot Access Samba Share You Do Not Have Permission But when I double click it it says I don't have permission to access \192.268.xxx.xxx\media. Update: I managed to compile Samba on Windows via Cygwin and got smbclient working under it, but I still cannot connect to the share through the native client on Windows.
The problem was with a registry key, ProviderOrder, used by Windows to determine which SMB client to use. but the only thing you are not able to access the Samba shares? it is much appreciated.
