Attempted most of the fixes suggested on forums, but frankly I am not opening up a box to disconnect other drives in order to install an OS. it works for me. Tips: if the problem still remains, try using a different USB drive since some pen drives are known to cause issues. When I get home from work again I'll try to take a look at the log-file. Then you can proceed to the custom setup, create your partitions and Windows will create the blah-blah-blah that it needs and everything will be fine.
