this is really a big bug in windows 7. now a few weeks later, here i am again. After encountering the above I changed it to Admin level but this did not resolve the issue of creating a folder on one of the drives. Thanks.

when i ping it from command prompt, i get a response but not when i double click on the drive, it says the network locatin cannot be reached. I actually validated that by changing the clock again I had re-introduced the problem. The Everyone advice should do the trick along with password protected sharing disabled. My time clocks were set to the same hour BUT set to PM rather than AM (oops!). here comes what u need. 1.
