Windows 7 Cannot Ping Network Computers
There are a few things you can do to troubleshoot. Is so this could be the issue. None of the other boxes can get a response when pinging the Win 7 box. Actually that's all wrong. navigate here
But now, my tinasoft is still running with all computers identified but I cannot share, print, ping or even see network computers from the server. Literally, if I unplug the wireless router and reinstall the wired router, the problem is solved. Router pings other 2 computers fine. This sweepstakes ends on November 17, 2016.

I was able to connect both ways and could view machines. I found out that this was the culprit. If I start pinging the Win 7 box from any of the other boxes and then re-boot the Win 7 box while the ping is still running, but not receiving a IP.
Confirm gateway and interface are correct. In fact, directly, I could not ping the microsoft windows vista machine by either IP address, netbios name, or dns name.You might instantly think in that case that well, you must I have disconnected the LAN from internet access and turned off the firewall on each of the boxes. All of them have internet connectivity. "PC1" is running Windows XP (I know, I know...) and its IP is 192.168.32.217 "PC2" is running Windows 7 and its IP is 192.168.33.181.
