My network consists of a Laptop running XP and two Desktops, one running XP and the other running Win 7. Both Windows 7 machines can see my XP machines. Says I don't have permission even though the printer is set to share. It works! Both servers have the same OP system and both have the same user name.

I cannot guarantee that it will work on your system. What's even more confusing, the same folder I cannot access now I was able to access a week ago.
