I have had the same problem on any pc with an LG Electronics drive (cd/rw,cd,dvd rom). Strange because I installed it fine with LG Lightscribe DVD RW and it worked. I don't know how to do any of this. Its in the box still, he got it out and copied it the first day he got it so he didn't risk scratching it..
